Do you go to all the local Haunted Houses during Halloween? Forget the fake ones! Do something different. Stay in a real haunted house! Hunters of the Unknown will hold a paranormal investigation for you and your friends at a private, very haunted house located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, IL, or you can choose to stay the entire night and conduct your own investigation with your own equipment. We have investigated this property two times and acquired a lot of paranormal evidence from only these investigations. On one side of the property are the "Haunted Woods" where the legendary Ditch Devil lives and the house sits next door to a cemetery. Some things that we have experienced in the house include hearing footsteps in the attic, a flashlight turning on and off on command, EVPs (electronic voice phenomenon) we ask questions and receive a response on an audio recorder, and responses from a Ghost Box. If Hunters is conducting the investigation:
We will show you what a real paranormal investigation is all about.
We will supply all the equipment.
Some of our equipment: IR cameras, DVR, Full Spectrum Camcorder, K2 Meter, Mel-Meter, Ghost Box, audio recorder.
Event is typically 4 hours long taking place from 9pm-1am. Time is flexible.
You only need to bring yourself. If you do have a camera, camcorder, audio recorder, or any other equipment feel free to bring it. Please note, not all camera and video equipment can be used in the dark. They must be equipped with "NightShot" or night vision capabilities.
If You are conducting your own investigation:
A member of Hunters of the Unknown will meet you at the location and give you a rundown of the house, then you are on your own.
Your team are the only ones with access to the property.
You will supply the equipment.
Event is from 7pm-7am the next day. Time is flexible.
The house has electricity, heat, AC, and a bathroom. The house is small, not recommended for more than 8 people.

The fine print:
ABSOLUTELY no drugs or alcohol allowed.
NO smoking in the house.
NO candles or occult-like activities permitted.
If you are under 18 years of age your parent MUST be present for the entire night and MUST buy their own ticket. Not recommended for children under 16 years old.
Each person will be required to sign a waiver. Click here for waiver. Bring waiver with you to the event.
Event must be purchased in advance. Cost is per person. NO refunds.
There are a limited number of tickets available so don't wait to purchase or you might be disappointed.
We cannot guarantee paranormal activity but we can guarantee the paranormal activity you experience is NOT fake.
